Our Parish Priest Celebrates 26th Priestly Anniversary

June 23, 2024On Sunday, June 23, 2024, a jubilant atmosphere filled St. Mel's Parish as the community came together to celebrate Fr. Rene Ramirez's 26th Priestly Anniversary. The event, which commenced at 9:30am, was a heartwarming occasion that brought together parishioners from all walks of life.
During the celebration, Fr. Rene Ramirez, RCJ presided over the Mass, offering prayers and gratitude for his 26 years of dedicated service to the parish. The mass was a touching tribute to his commitment and unwavering faith.
The highlight of the day was a captivating Samoan Kava Dance performance presented by the Samoan community, adding a cultural flair to the festivities. In addition, Trish Mathisen, the PPC President, extended her appreciation to Fr. Rene by presenting him with a thoughtful gift on behalf of the parish.
Following the Mass, the community gathered in the Parish Gathering Hall for a delightful sausage sizzle and a hearty lunch, where they shared in the joy and fellowship of the occasion.
