In-Service Training for Priests in Diocese of Sandhurst

September 4, 2024Due to the scheduled in-service training for all the priests in the Diocese of Sandhurst, there will be no Mass at St Mel’s from 9th to 12th September. The training aims to provide priests with the opportunity for updating and fraternity as they gather together for this important event.
The temporary suspension of Mass at St Mel's is a result of the commitment of the Diocese to ensure that all priests receive necessary and timely training for their pastoral duties. During this period, the faithful are encouraged to join in prayer for the enrichment and well-being of the priests as they partake in this training.
The Diocese recognizes the significance of this in-service training in enhancing the knowledge and skills of the priests in carrying out their spiritual responsibilities. The continued support and prayers of the community are welcomed and appreciated during this period of in-service training. St Mel’s looks forward to the resumption of regular Mass schedule thereafter.
